Join us on Thanksgiving morning and help make a difference! 

Get into the holiday spirit by joining the 5K Turkey Trot, an exciting event benefiting youth in our community. Whether you're an experienced runner or simply looking for a fun walk, there’s something for everyone! This year, the Tupper Lake Kiwanis Club and the Town of Tupper Lake Recreation Department are teaming up to keep this event going strong. All proceeds will support Tupper Lake youth through Kiwanis Service Projects, scholarships for education, sports, and other youth programs. 

  • Date: November 27, 2025 (Thanksgiving Day)
  • Meet-Up Time: 8:30 a.m. at the Tupper Lake Train Station
  • Race Start Time: 9:00 a.m.
  • Raffle Tickets: Sold at the Town Hall

Come dressed in your most festive costume and join us for a morning filled with excitement. After the race, enjoy a chance to win amazing prizes and take part in our raffles.

This year we are asking participants to bring an unwrapped toy as a donation for Castle of Toys (each donor will receive a free raffle ticket to be entered into the basket drawing of their choice).

Registration for the 12th annual event will open in September. Be sure the check back for more details.

  • 5K Walk/Run:  $40

Our pre-registration and basket raffle event kick-off will take place at Raquette River Brewery the evening before the Trot from 5pm-8pm!
